A Christmas Carol
Today. A day that is meant for joy and merriment. Tomorrow will be, too. I hate today, and tomorrow and every holiday that we as people celebrate. Stupid traditions is what we have. Christmas, ha! How a man can be happy and celebrate a day when he himself has an unhappy life. A poor man, even more outrageous! I, a rich man, wouldn't dare even give this day, and the people who celebrate it, as much as a smile, or the shake of a hand. The red and green, the holly. The joy and laughter coming very every man, woman and child. sickening is what it is. and ridiculous, at that. I myself will sleep tonight with the nightmares of those caroling on the streets and the joy of those insensible people.

I like it a lot Cassidy. You really embodied his hatred of Christmas and happiness. Nice job connecting his hatred of jollity to having nightmares.
